A day after he hit a home run wearing the number of his fallen teammate, Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout posted a touching tribute to Tyler Skaggs on Saturday.
Trout shared a picture of himself in front of the image of Skaggs posted on the outfield wall. He also wrote a heartfelt message sharing how much he misses his friend and how grateful he was for their friendship.
I was lucky enough to know someone as special as Tyler. You were there last night, 45… we’ll always have you in our hearts. I love and miss you. pic.twitter.com/TMIgSTTpJz

While Skaggs’ teammates, friends and family continue to mourn his loss, the outpouring of love and support has been special.
