Tom Brady appearing on Howard Stern’s radio show next week
If Tom Brady is going to talk about his breakup with the Patriots, bet on it happening in his next interview.
The six-time Super Bowl champion is scheduled to appear on “The Howard Stern Show” next Wednesday, providing the guarded quarterback a wide-ranging forum — with the skilled and easygoing interviewer, who repeatedly unearths incredible and previously unshared anecdotes from famous celebrities — to reveal details about Brady’s once-unthinkable departure from New England. The interview will be available for all to hear, with SiriusXM currently free through May 15.
During his lone media availability since signing with the Buccaneers, Brady, 42, reiterated his fondness for the franchise, which drafted him in 1999 and was unwilling to match the guaranteed two-year, $50 million deal Brady signed with Tampa Bay.
“I’m so grateful for two decades and I referenced that the other day,” Brady said during his introductory conference call. “It’s been an amazing thing for my family and I’m sure when I’m done playing, I’ll look back and have a chance to really re-evaluate my entire career.”
