As the reports around Antonio Brown get more worrying, his ex-girlfriend Chelsie Kyriss posted an emotional Instagram message pleading with him to get help.
Kyriss, who has three sons with Brown, has been the source of some of his the receiver’s social media ire throughout his months-long tailspin.
“Unfortunately, it seems Antonio has made questionable choices and continues to ignore the advice of those who love and support him,” Kyriss wrote in a message that featured a picture of the children.
“At this point the boys and I are working on building a new life free from any impulsive, reckless and unhealthy behaviors. My hope is that Anotonio [sic] will get help and seek the mental health treatment that he so desperately needs so that he can be the father all of his children need and deserve.”
That statement came a day after Brown was implicated in an alleged incident involving a mover. Brown’s trainer, Glenn Holt, was arrested on felony burglary and battery charges and was released on bond. There is a warrant out for Brown’s arrest.
Police allege, in documents obtained by TMZ, that Brown forced his way into the moving van and started hitting the driver over an argument of payment. He is also accused of throwing a rock at the van.
These allegations came a week after Brown filmed himself arguing with police and Kyriss outside his Hollywood, Fla. home.
“Over the last few years I have stood at the side of my children’s father Antonio Brown and watched the rise and fall of an incredible man and athlete,” Kyriss, who is seeking sole custody of the three boys,, wrote. “Our children and I have distanced ourselves from him and our former home. Although we have parted ways I wish nothing but the best for him.”
Brown, 31, is currently out of the NFL as the league investigates sexual assault and rape allegations made by former trainer, Britney Taylor, and sexual misconduct allegations by a second woman. Brown played one game for the Patriots this season before being released in September after the second woman accused Brown of sending her “intimidating” text messages.
