One person was killed and another injured in a shooting inside an Upper Manhattan lounge, cops said Monday.
Cops responding to a 911 call for an assault at Floridita restaurant in Inwood just before 5 a.m. found a 28-year-old man who was shot twice in the chest and a woman with a gunshot wound to the leg, cops said.
Police believe the shooting to have stemmed from an argument inside the lounge, but are not immediately sure what sparked the dispute.
The unidentified man was taken to Saint Barnabas Hospital where he was unable to be saved, while the woman, also unidentified, was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem in stable condition, according to police.
The gunman fled the scene, cops said.
