Medicare recipients are facing a 7% premium hike

The Fed claims there is too little inflation in the country and that’s one of the reasons it is keeping interest rates very low.

Well, tell that to Medicare Part B recipients who are facing a 7% premium hike even as their Social Security payments are rising just 1.6% in 2020.

And those same people who are struggling to pay higher premiums and survive on that paltry increase are also being hurt by the low interest income they are getting on their savings because of the Fed’s rate policies.

If the Fed wants to keep interest rates low, that’s its business. But don’t insult people who live in a very real world by saying that costs on everything aren’t rising.

They are.
