Man killed in Lawndale stabbing: police

Detectives have recovered a weapon and are questioning a person of interest, police said.

A person of interest is being questioned by authorities after a man was stabbed to death during a domestic dispute Wednesday in Lawndale on the West Side.

The 24-year-old was stabbed in the body at 12:31 p.m. during a domestic-related incident in the 1800 block of South Keeler Avenue, according to Chicago police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said. The Cook County medical examiner’s office has not released details about the fatality.

Detectives have recovered a weapon and are questioning a person of interest, police said.
