Los Angeles Lakers big man DeMarcus Cousins was cleared of third-degree harassment charges, and his case was dismissed.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski shared this breaking news Friday afternoon.

Cousins was accused of threatening his ex-girlfriend, Christy West, in a phone call that was shared by TMZ Sports in August. West also previously asked for a protective order against Cousins over alleged verbal and physical abuse, Levi Edwards of AL.com noted at the time.

Mikan, who was only 29 when he retired, had suffered multiple broken bones and injuries during his career but would stay with the franchise as a general manager and coach (he even came back to play for several games), but the franchise wasn't the same.
