It’s over for Eli Manning.
The legendary Giants quarterback and two-time Super Bowl winner will hold a news conference Friday to announce his retirement, The Post’s Paul Schwartz confirmed.
The development comes as little surprise after last season saw the 39-year-old relegated to backup duties in favor of rookie quarterback Daniel Jones.
Manning said at the end of the season he would not return to the Giants as a backup, leading some to speculate whether he would end up elsewhere. Instead, it appears he’s content to call it a career after 16 NFL seasons.
