Conor McGregor’s rival, Nate Diaz, not impressed with ‘weak as f–k’ UFC 246 fight

Conor McGregor’s first UFC victory in over three years, a dominant win over Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone in less than a minute, seemed to indicate he’s back.

One of his rivals had a very different take.

“Weak as f–k,” Nate Diaz tweeted about the UFC 246 main event.

It took McGregor just 40 seconds to knock out Cerrone, as he won in the octagon for the first time since 2016. After briefly retiring following his mega boxing showdown with Floyd Mayweather Jr., McGregor lost in his return to Khabib Nurmagomedov in October of 2018. But this performance was the McGregor of old. Diaz, however, wasn’t impressed. He also tweeted it was “fake.”

Diaz and McGregor fought twice, each winning once. Maybe a rubber match is in order.

“Let’s go, Nathan,” McGregor said after UFC 246 while discussing potential next opponents. “Let’s go brother. No. 3. It’s always here. We’re right here Nathan.”
